Intelligent Math Remediation
Piqosity Virtual Tutor (PVT) continuously measures student progress in the current and in pre-requisite topics.
When PVT identifies a student consistently underperforming, it automatically makes the connection and recommends remediation.
Students remediate a topic by studying the relevant lesson and working associated practice questions to demonstrate proficiency.
Instructional Content
Every Piqosity course contains 3 unique types of content—lessons, practice questions, and full-length tests or units.
Every topic is explained in an intuitive text or video-based lessons, including multiple variations and styles to fit each student’s needs.
Personalized practice includes multiple quiz modes like adaptive and gamified. Adaptive mode automatically adjusts the difficulty up or down, and gamified mode adds points, sounds, and badges.
Test prep courses provide up to 12 full-length practice tests; math courses contain 4 unit exams; and English courses offer at least 2 novel walk-throughs.
Bring Your Own Content
For even more control over your students’ prep, you can write your own content with Piqosity’s question and lesson editors.
Lessons can include all types of media including text, pictures, and video.
Questions can be stand-alone or passage-based, and answer choices can be multiple choice, free response, or essay.
And for even more flexibility, “Off-App Passage-Based Questions” can even assess students on readings from third party websites like the New York Times or offline activities like a science lab experiment.
Assignments
Piqosity allows you to create detailed assignments with due dates on any combination of personalized practice, lessons, and full-length tests or test sections.
You can monitor your students’ progress on current assignments and review their performance on the ones they’ve completed.

Piqosity increasingly works with many private, public, and charter schools. Here are some popular ways school leaders have chosen to implement Piqosity:
- Boot Camps. These are dedicated one or multi-day courses to prepare for a specific test. Piqosity can provide the course instructor remotely or in-person; also schools can provide their own instructor.
- In-Class. Many schools have dedicated “college prep” or “ACT prep” classes that meet regularly like core academic classes and run an entire semester. Piqosity can be used for test prep during the entire course or just in the weeks leading up to the official test.
- Tutorials. Another popular time to use Piqosity is during dedicated intervention periods during or after school.
While every school and student is unique, Piqosity’s research and analysis shows that students can generally expect an improvement on the ACT of 1 point for every 7 hours of quality studying. For the Digital SAT, students can expect an approximately 40 point improvement for every 7-hours or approximately a 1-day bootcamp.
Yes, Piqosity can fully staff and execute a one or multi-day “boot camp” for ACT or SAT test preparation. This course can be hosted remotely or on-site for additional cost.
Yes, we currently work with several public schools which have used Title 1 funding to pay for Piqosity ACT and SAT test prep plus math and English end of course prep without issue.

Yes, in our experience most public and private schools can use federal, pandemic relief funds to pay for Piqosity student licenses. The specific rules of using ESSER and EANS funds vary by state. However, Piqosity generally qualifies since it’s a software solution specifically designed to measure and mitigate learning loss in K12 math and English.
There is no special process to qualify for our group discount pricing.
