We have deployed a new feature for tutors/teachers and school administrators. The new Reports page allows educators to have a more granular view of their students’ Piqosity app usage and response analytics. Educators can save individual reports and even export to a CSV file.

We developed this new reporting feature in response to requests for better integration with a traditional classroom setting. In particular many teachers told us they wanted a better way to assign letter grades to students enrolled in test prep courses based off specific criteria like the number of questions a student worked in a given time period.

The new page is accessible from the top navigation by clicking on “Reports.” Currently educators can select up to 10 columns including:

  1. Score
  2. Goal score
  3. Baseline Score
  4. Score Gain
  5. Questions answered
  6. Difficulty of questions worked
  7. Response accuracy
  8. Response pacing
  9. Seconds spent per question
  10. Date of last activity

Furthermore, most of these stats can be time bound including:

  • Last Week
  • Last Month
  • Specific Date Range

Educators can view the stats for the entire course in aggregate or for specific topics like just “Math” or “Reading & Writing.”

All reports can be saved for quicker recall in the future or downloaded as a CSV file for further offline analysis. Currently these new reporting features are accessible only in the new “Reports” page. However, within the next two deployments we plan to integrate some of the features into the existing “Students” tab in our Course and Class pages.
